Inclusiveness-Inconclusive

"March of the Skirt: Inclusiveness-Inconclusive" is a performative intervention conceived as a wearable sculpture, created from a silkscreened collage of photographs taken during the Women's March in New York on January 21, 2017. Originally, these demonstrations took place in various cities worldwide in support of gender equality and civil rights, addressing anticipated challenges during the initial presidency of Donald Trump.

The skirt, typically an article of personal and individual clothing, is transformed here into a collective object inviting individuals of all genders to interact with it in both public and private spaces through actions such as putting it on, removing it, and passing it to other participants. By becoming a mobile and shared space, the garment confronts social divisions, discomforts, and human afflictions, stimulating critical reflection on inclusion, exclusion, and the collective construction of cultural meaning.
